The Master Bedroom

Hey hey hey, happy 2019!

As a start to the relatively new year (we are already into April - i know), I planned to kick off this blog with something more personal and I can't think of any better idea than to share about my first home with Koon!! :)

It was an tedious yet exciting journey, and this to me, is another chapter of #adulting.

As this is an extremely huge topic and the chatterbox in me has so much to share, I am intending to create a series of posts to document our thoughts, reviews, and experience of this journey, including the vendors, furniture and appliances that we have gotten. Trust me when I say I wanted to document the renovation journey in parallel but our work and personal schedule was insane throughout 2018. Recalling tiny bits of the process is quite a challenge but I will try to make this series as informative as possible.

Here are some photos and first look at our newly renovated crib:

I hope you enjoy this set of pictures as much as I do, because….I took a bit of effort to tidy things up and waiting for a suitable timing (for as much sunlight to come through as possible) to take them! Hahaha. As staged as it sounds, I still think this may be the only chance a new home can look extremely clean and nice, especially before we have kids. Our home is still quite bare; in the sense of decorative and styling as we are still in the midst of looking for the right one(s).

In the next post, I will cover our experience working with our ID (Calvin from Cal Design & Co) and the other vendors we engaged for our home. Mostly positive I would say! Stay tuned and see ya :)
